Learning to Garden: It is Easier Than You Think

I used to pull into my driveway after work every day and wish I had beautiful flowers growing in my yard, like many of my neighbors. My parents didn't garden when I was a child, and I thought it was a talent that just didn't run in my family. I decided "what the heck?" one day and started researching gardening tips. I learned how to plant the right flowers in the right places, so they get just enough sunlight. I also learned a lot along my gardening journey, and I now have a beautiful yard filled with flowers that I planted myself! I decided that I wanted to create a blog that helps everyone realize that they can have the yard of their dreams. I hope you learn a lot here that helps you finally have a yard that you love!

The Benefits Of Using A Drone To Survey Your Land

A land survey is a great way to get a full assessment of what's going on across your property, or perhaps you want a survey to make sure you are getting what you are about to pay for if you want to buy a new piece of land. While it's possible to hire a land surveyor to walk across the property and note everything they encounter, there are some situations where this may not be advised. Today, more and more people in need of a land survey are turning to drone surveying to get the job done. Here's why you might want to reach out to a local drone survey company today.

Cover a Large Piece of Property Much Faster

A land surveyor can typically handle a basic residential property with no issue. But if you own or are going to buy a large piece of land for commercial or other purposes, it would take a person a very long time to physically walk across the property and survey everything. If the property is hundreds or thousands of acres, a drone will be much more effective at getting the survey completed in a timely fashion. It might also cost less money than what you would have to pay a team of people to walk that distance along the ground.

You Won't Disrupt Anyone on the Ground When You Fly Overhead

If part of your land is being used as a work site or if the existing owner is still conducting work on the property, sending in a land surveyor on foot is a great way to disrupt the work that is going on. There may be safety regulations that require workers to stop work while someone from outside the company is on-site, for example. But when you can fly a drone overhead, the workers down below will be able to continue business as usual and might not even realize a survey is taking place.

A Drone Can Survey Dangerous Terrain Much More Easily and With Less Concern Than a Person

Even if your property or the property you want to buy is not especially large, there may be areas of the land that could be a bit dangerous to walk or drive across. This could result in higher fees from your surveyor, or it simply might not be possible to get a complete picture of the land from on the ground. This is a situation where a drone survey can once again shine.
